Utah Travel Blog: Exploring the State's Most Scenic Spots
A few months ago, my husband and I embarked on an unforgettable journey to Utah, a state filled with incredible landscapes and charming towns. With its mix of natural wonders and urban charm, Utah has long been on our travel wishlist—and it did not disappoint. Here’s a glimpse into our adventure, featuring stops in Salt Lake City, Park City, the Bonneville Salt Flats, St. George, and Zion National Park.
Salt Lake City: A Warm Welcome
Our trip began in Salt Lake City, the state’s capital. We spent our first day exploring the city’s vibrant downtown area, which is a perfect blend of history and modernity. Temple Square was a must-visit—the architecture of the Salt Lake Temple is breathtaking, and the surrounding gardens were serene even in late fall.
For a taste of the local food scene, we practically lived on coffee (seriously, so much coffee) and had the best breakfast ever at Ruth’s Cafe. The food was amazing—the kind that you’re still talking about weeks later. It instantly became one of those spots we’ll always remember. The city’s relaxed pace was the perfect way to ease into our adventure.
Park City: A Winter Wonderland
Next, we made our way to Park City—my favorite destination in Utah. Even though it wasn’t peak ski season yet, the town’s charm was undeniable. We strolled along Historic Main Street, admiring the quaint shops and cozy coffee spots. Of course, we couldn’t resist taking the scenic drive to Deer Valley Resort and imagining what it would look like covered in snow.
Park City is also a photographer’s dream. I took my camera along and captured some stunning shots of the fall foliage blending with early signs of winter.
